The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA) announces REACH, a eight-week summer research fellowship specifically for community college students. This fellowship will focus on fundamental scientific and engineering challenges relevant to producing renewable materials from non-food agricultural crops, also knows as “biorefining”. Disciplines for research includes biology, chemistry, materials science and engineering. Prospective fellows should have completed at least one lab course in a relevant discipline (biology, chemistry, physics, engineering or other).
